Meet the Coach

I am Heidi Hubatch and have been playing golf for over 30 years now.  I started playing when I was 13 with my dad.  He would take me to the small golf courses (par 3s) like the Snowflake Ski and Golf course in Westby.  I enjoy the game of golf because I do not have to compete with anyone else other then myself and the course.  It is a relaxing and fun sport for me.  I have coached golf for the past 18 years and enjoy every bit of it.  What I enjoy the most is when one of my golfers gets her personal best score!  

My philosophy for the girl's golf program is to give every athlete an equal opportunity to compete in the high school sports program.  The League has developed a varsity and junior varsity program to allow as many athletes as possible to be involved in learning and playing this life-long sport.  I want participation in girl's golf to be a positive learning and playing experience.  It is our goal to field a full varsity and junior varsity roster and to teach and coach players at all levels of the game.
