Career Pathways at Viroqua Area Schools
Viroqua Area Schools offer a variety of career pathways designed to help students explore their interests, develop real-world skills, and plan for life after graduation. Each pathway provides a clear scope and sequence of courses, hands-on experiences, and community connections that guide students from foundational learning in the early high school years to advanced study, certifications, and work-based learning opportunities in upper grades.
Within these pathways, students can research the scope and sequence for their area of interest, explore work-based learning opportunities, and become involved in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) that build leadership and professional skills. Additionally, students have access to resources from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to research labor market information and better understand career trends and local employment opportunities.
