The mission of the Viroqua Middle School counseling program is to ensure that all students, grades 4-8, are provided the support needed to be successful academically, developed emotionally, and prepared for post-secondary success.
Meet our MS Counselor, Ms. Alissa!
Hello! I am Alissa Uttech, the Viroqua Middle School Counselor. I am from a small town in northern Wisconsin called Merrill. I went to UW-Stevens Point, where I graduated with my education degree in Family Consumer Sciences and a concentration in Drama Theater Arts. I then went to Concordia, where I got my master's in School Counseling. I enjoy traveling, reading and learning new things, spending time with my four cats, watching TV, playing piano, hanging out with friends, and shopping! If you would like to know more about me, just let me know!
The Program:
The school counseling program utilizes a variety of methods to assist students in developing the knowledge and skills needed for academic, career, and social/emotional development. These may include, but are not limited to:
