Mission:
The mission of the Viroqua Middle School Counseling Program is to provide every student in grades 4–8 with the support, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive academically, grow socially and emotionally, and build the skills that prepare them for future success in high school and beyond.
Meet our MS Counselor, Ms. Hailey!
Hello! My name is Hailey Bray, and I’m proud to be the School Counselor at Viroqua Middle School. I grew up in Boscobel and now live in La Crosse. I attended UW–La Crosse for my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned my master’s degree in School Counseling from UW–Superior.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and spending time with my friends and family.
As the school counselor, I’m here to support students with academics, friendships, problem-solving, and anything else that might come up along the way. I truly believe that with compassion, encouragement, and support, every student can succeed and feel confident in who they are.
The school counseling program utilizes a variety of methods to assist students in developing the knowledge and skills needed for academic, career, and social/emotional development. These may include, but are not limited to:
Classroom Lessons
Small Group Counseling
Individual Counseling
Teacher Collaboration/Consultation
Parent/Guardian Collaboration/Consultation
Community Resource Consultation/Referral
