The word of the day today is:

Pragmatic

Today is:

American Diabetes Association Alert Day! Did you know that about 1 in 10 individuals in the United States are impacted by Diabetes? It’s true! Some individuals have Type 1 diabetes, also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin dependent diabetes, which is not as preventable. However, it is estimated that 9 out of every 10 cases of diabetes can be avoided with healthy, pragmatic life choices. These choices include: reducing or eliminating sugar and refined carbs, regular exercise, making water your primary beverage, eating more fiber, among others. Do what you can to help your body and reduce the risk of diabetes today as we all have a wonderful American Diabetes Association Alert Day!

Those are all of the announcements for today. Remember that you have a choice to make it a great day or not, and if you see somebody without a smile, you can always give them one of yours.
