What is the difference between being a PTA executive board member, a PTA member, and a volunteer at the school?
The PTA Executive Board consists of officers who organize many of the events and often have more direct contact with the school staff.
As a PTA member, you participate in PTA events, fundraisers, and pay a membership fee of $10 that goes towards supporting the school. When it comes to voting, your vote will count.
A volunteer at the school can assist teachers and staff with events, class projects, assignments or activities. You do not have to be a PTA member to volunteer, but we would love for you to join!

At the end of every school year there are elections to run for a PTA Executive Board position. When an announcement is made that we will be preparing for our next election, please email PTAboard@vinciparkpta.com with your name, the position you would like to run for, your kids' grade and briefly explain what inspired you to want to be part of the Executive board.

Yes, you can join our Association PTA meetings without being a member. However, your membership fee is used to help support a variety of programs and events designed to introduce students to new experiences in a variety of areas, benefiting our whole school community!

We do not pressure anyone into volunteering and that is a promise. You can volunteer as much or as little as you prefer. We may ask you to volunteer for another event but it’s perfectly okay to say no.
