Welcome to Vilonia Primary School! We are an elementary school located in Vilonia, Arkansas, serving students in grades K-3. Vilonia is a small town in Central Arkansas just 15 miles east of Conway and 40 miles north of Little Rock. Mrs. Fortson's Role at VPS:

Provide individual and small group counseling to students in grades K-3
Provide whole-group guidance lessons (classroom setting)
Teach character education skills
Work with students and families by providing support during a personal or family crisis
Offer classroom behavior support
Foster social skills development
Assist with transitions (e.g., new students, adjustments to Kindergarten, moving to the next campus)
Provide community resources and programs to families in need of assistance
Offer referrals to outside agencies for mental health services
