List of books/comics/mangas/video games I recently read/played
Absolute Batman 1: It's quite good! Bruce Wayne is not a rich guy and more muscular than usual. It does a lot of fresh stuff, but still adresses the core themes of Batman.
Childeath 1,2,3: The story is pretty bad. It's just a (much worse) mix of Madoka Magica and The Promised Neverland + cosmic galactic fighting. The artstyle is awesome though.
To Your Eternity 1: The story is pretty good. The artstyle is ok. It's pretty depressing. I don't know if I would recommend it.
Titanfall 2: The movement is nice. The tutorial mini-game where you try to beat the speed record is just pain. The length of the campagne is perfect.
Saros: The movement is also nice. This is some dark science fiction rogue like lite, based on the Carcosa/the king in yellow lore. It's really nice and difficult.
Remark: I am a mathematician, so who am I to judge arts.
My opinions:
I believe that a) artificial intelligence should be kept in check by politics, b) even with possibly AI outpacing humans in math/the sciences, we should still keep going. If you dream of studying math, philosophy or some other science, keep going for it. People already told philosophers thousands of years ago that what they do is not useful. So even with AI in the mix, nothing has changed.
