Hello!
Hello!
I am a PhD candidate in Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota.
My methodological research involves methods for sequential categorical data, particularly human activity sequences from mobile and wearable devices. (Think Fitbit, but so many types of data are surprisingly sequential and categorical in nature!) I am advised by Dr. Julian Wolfson. In addition, I maintain a strong interest in applied research collaboration across disciplines, including vaccine epidemiology, nutrition and cardiovascular diseases.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching tennis, and playing with my cat Trident (see bottom left). The banner picture was taken near Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota. My photo was taken at Leavenworth, WA in Dec. 2021.Â
