After years of training and working along side some talented professionals in the field, Zachary has started his own company with a focus on sustaining, growing, and maintaining trees of all shapes and sizes. We Really Are Family Owned
You will see at least one of the five Johnson family members during the time of your tree service. Zachary, Rebecca, and their three children are passionate about nature and trees. Our lead "branch managers" will ensure no twig is left behind. Zachary will always come with a car load of climbing gear... you will surely be amazed by this arborist's ability to get the work done without a bucket truck or ladder! Most often, you will communicate with Rebecca over email, as she manages the office side of things.
When our family can't help you, we have friends that can! Our pal at Sanctuary Tree PHC, Ryan Bartlett, can take care of any treatment needs your tree may have. This would include pests and diseases, along with all the preventative care. Ryan shares a passion for environmental conservation and has endless knowledge about the Colorado bee population. Shrub Maintenance
Z Tree Care can also maintain shrubs and bushes, to encourage growth in the right places. We include vines in this category as well, and can help remove them entirely, or clear them from specific areas of your property while allowing them to flourish in the right spaces.
Orchard Tree Care
Whether you have a single apple tree or many, we can provide tree care and maintenance. Z Tree Care is familiar with the appropriate times of years to work on orchard trees, especially if there is a health concern such as fire blight.
Neighbors
You read that right, Z Tree Care can talk with your neighbors on your behalf. Sometimes their trees are encroaching on your property, or you share a large hedge, or your tree care may require access to their property. Let us reach out to your neighbors to coordinate and offer suggestions for mutual tree care success.
Tree Trimming
This is the process of trimming out unusual growth, dead branches, and creating a healthy shape and growth pattern for the tree. Trims are important for long term health, and need time to heal between services. Ask us know we consider long term needs of the tree when we provide your estimate.
House & Street Clearance
In some locations, home owners may be required to trim their trees in a way that allows safe passage by those walking & driving by, or for powerlines. We can provide those clearances without taking unnecessary limbs from the tree. House clearances are important to avoid damage to your home in the event of a fallen limb, and can even help prevent the tree from experiencing storm damage.
Tree Removals
Our goal at Z Tree Care is to preserve and maintain a healthy canopy in our surrounding neighborhoods. In some cases, it is better to remove a tree than to trim it. Our company operates with a tree climbing arborist, rather than a bucket truck. This allows us to remove trees without issues of access or height limits.
Volunteer Work
Each year, Zachary participates in Soluting Branches, a volunteer event to provide annual tree care to the trees at Veteran Memorial sites. As us about our Veteran Discount at the time of service.
