斑驳的旧木箱锁住的时光
The time locked away in the tattered old box
曾在暗夜各自启航
Used to set sail alone at night
光与尘流淌
Light is flowing with dust
我与你隔时空对望
Across time and space, I gaze back at you
车辙碾过颠沛风霜
Wheel ruts grinded over hardships and snowstorms

Oaks rowed through endless years
日月重光 漫过金瓦旧殿檐廊
The sun and moon are shining again over the golden tiles of the old palace’s corridor
釉色藏过的旧时光
Old days lie hidden in the glaze
掌温焐过寒夜凉
Our palms warm up the cold night
宫音重光 关不住的徵羽宫商
The palace music is ringing again, the notes cannot be locked in
山河洪荒 表里皆为琴床
The mountains and rivers are all part of the instrument
契阔意犹长
No matter time and distance, the bond stays strong
疏雨落海棠
The rain drizzles over the flowers
脊兽屋檐上向南望
The mythical beasts on the roof are looking South
青瓷盏盛着淡水月光
The celadon tea cups hold clear water and moonlight
旧时明月何曾两乡
Since when has the moonlight of the past been seen in two places?
丽水伴昆冈
A place filled with treasure*
丽水伴昆冈 comes from 金生丽水,玉出昆冈 which literally means gold comes from the waters of Li Jiang while jade is from Kun Gang → imagine the river that ‘creates’ gold surrounding the mountains that ‘creates’ jade
沉默着震耳的回响
Is ringing with silent echoes
鸢飞鱼跃 弦歌未央
Everything is where they’re meant to be, the music won’t stop
盼望重逢别来无恙
Looking forward to meeting again, hope everything has been well

仍是月明天清朗
