穿过遥远小溪水守着一株小玫瑰

Somewhere far away, the stream guards a little rose

她总是绷紧脚背仰头看大雁南飞

She’s always straining her legs, lifting her head to stare at the sky, watching the swan geese fly South

她说你可曾遇见那只小鹿

She asks, “Have you met the little deer?”

她幻想着远山迷雾眺望着爱与起初

She imagines mountains surrounded by mist, and looks forward to love and beginnings 

醒着在梦里挣扎不觉黯淡了朝霞

Self-consciously struggling in her dreams, it suddenly dawned

忽然间岁月凛冽掠过白茫茫的雪

Suddenly, time flies by, sweeping the vast white snow

小鹿终于又想起这座山谷

The little deer finally remembers the mountain

扯下她温暖花瓣在冬天一去不还

Stripped her warm petals and never returned since winter

蓄满泪水的云朵化作美丽花骨朵

The clouds that are brimming with tears turn into beautiful flower buds

北斗星每夜路过闪烁她的疑惑

The Big Dipper passes by every night, twinkling with her doubts

夜啊分明长满了星星晚风

The night is filled with stars and an evening breeze

可是她们却给你取名字叫做天空

Yet they named you ‘sky.’

小鹿雨季又回来玫瑰已再次盛开

The little deer returns during the rainy season, and the rose has bloomed again

她悄悄忍住眼泪再不愿将花瓣低垂

She holds back her tears, not willing to let her petals droop

月光已为她披上雪白铠甲

The moonlight has already helped her wear snow white armour

小鹿悻悻远去啊她从此不做谁的花

The deer leaves disappointedly, from then on, she won’t become anybody’s flower

她眺望着远山迷雾满怀着爱与凄楚

She stares at the mountains surrounded by mist, her heart filled with love and sadness
