SPaMD is an integrated software platform developed by the research group of Professor Ruifeng Zhang at Beihang University. It is designed for modeling, simulation, analysis and visualization at atomic scale, including SPaMD Visualizer and SPaMD Simulator. The platform provides simple graphical user interface, robust model construction through various toolbox, high-throughput calculations and simulations, advanced electronic and atomic analysis capabilities, highly optimized lightweight visualization system, etc. The internal simulator provides a large-scale atomic level simulation function and integrates a variety of classical mechanical simulation methods. It has passed the rigorous hundreds of millions of non-equilibrium shock wave simulation and crack simulation. The platform provides also friendly user-defined GUI to access high-throughput simulations and calculations of various properties via external calculators and simulators such as VASP, LAMMPS, etc.
