If you want a rugged, long-lasting companion for intense gym sessions and pool laps with massive onboard storage, choose ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones; if you need ultra-lightweight flexibility for marathon swimming and quick charging cycles, choose RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming.
• ZOVIMAX: The standout strength is its massive 8GB internal memory allowing 2,000 songs without a phone, paired with a robust 12-hour total battery life and Bluetooth 6.0 for superior land-based connectivity. Its biggest trade-off is the slightly heavier build due to the larger driver size and the need for an external adjustable strap to ensure a secure fit during high-intensity movement. This pick is for the serious athlete who wants zero-phone freedom and extended playtime.
• RELAXYO: The primary advantage lies in its memory titanium frame that molds perfectly to any head shape without pressure points, plus a rapid 1.5-hour charge time and 32GB storage for up to 7,000 tracks. The main compromise is the shorter 7-hour playback window per charge compared to its competitor. This pick is for swimmers and runners who prioritize featherlight comfort and fast turnaround between workouts.
The ZOVIMAX X7 MAX is engineered specifically for those who refuse to carry their phones into the pool or the weight room. Its most defining feature is the dual-mode capability powered by Bluetooth 6.0 and a dedicated MP3 mode with 8GB of internal storage. This isn't just about having music; it's about total autonomy. You can store up to 2,000 songs directly on the device, meaning you can hit the gym, jump in the pool, or run a marathon without needing a single wire or your smartphone nearby. The ability to toggle modes with a simple double-click gives you the flexibility to switch from land-based streaming to underwater MP3 playback instantly.
For gym-goers looking for the best bluetooth headset for gym environments where safety and awareness are paramount, this open-ear design shines. The 14.2mm dynamic drivers deliver what I consider to be powerful, immersive stereo sound with rich bass that keeps your energy high during heavy lifting or cardio. Unlike standard earbuds that block out the world, these keep you aware of your surroundings while still delivering premium audio quality. The IPX8 waterproof rating ensures they can withstand full submersion up to 5 meters deep for 2.5 hours, making them a reliable choice for rigorous water workouts or sweaty training sessions.

However, this model is not for everyone. If you prefer a set-and-forget experience without any adjustments, the included adjustable strap might feel like an extra step you don't want. The design relies on this strap to lock the headphones securely onto different head sizes, which adds a layer of security but requires a moment of setup before every session. Additionally, while the battery life is impressive at up to 12 hours when factoring in the MP3 mode usage, the actual continuous playback on Bluetooth is listed at 8 hours, which is substantial but falls short of the theoretical maximum if you aren't using the internal memory. It is the ideal choice for someone who values raw battery endurance and massive song libraries over the absolute lightest possible frame.
The RELAXYO X26 is built for the swimmer who demands comfort above all else. Its construction utilizes a memory titanium frame, a material choice that fundamentally changes how the headphones sit on your head. Instead of rigid plastic or silicone pads pressing against your skull, this flexible frame conforms to the natural contours of your ears. This eliminates the pressure points that often plague long-duration wear, making it an exceptional choice for marathon swimming or long-distance running where even minor discomfort can become a distraction. The lightweight nature of the titanium frame means you likely won't even notice they are there once they are adjusted.
In terms of storage and connectivity, RELAXYO offers a staggering 32GB of built-in memory, capable of holding up to 7,000 songs. While this is more than double the capacity of the ZOVIMAX, the real-world benefit comes down to convenience. With Bluetooth 5.4 technology, you get a stable connection range of over ten meters in barrier-free environments, ensuring your audio stays crisp whether you are on the track or in the locker room. The control scheme is refreshingly simple, utilizing only three buttons to manage power, volume, track skipping, and mode switching. For users who find complex touch controls frustrating, especially with wet hands or sweaty fingers, this physical button layout is a significant practical advantage.
The trade-off here is primarily in battery longevity. While the unit charges incredibly fast in just 1.5 hours, the average playback life is 7 hours. For many casual gym sessions, this is plenty, but for an ultra-endurance athlete planning a multi-day training camp or a very long day of continuous use, the shorter battery life compared to the ZOVIMAX might require more frequent charging breaks. Furthermore, the lack of noise cancellation features means these rely entirely on bone conduction technology to transmit sound, which some users might find less isolated than other options. This product is perfect for the user who wants a "wear it and forget it" experience with a frame that bends rather than breaks, provided they are okay with recharging daily.
• Best for Battery Endurance → ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones: With up to 12 hours of potential playtime and an 8-hour Bluetooth runtime, it outlasts the competition for long days.
• Best for Massive Music Libraries → RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming: The 32GB storage holds 7,000 songs, offering nearly four times the capacity of the ZOVIMAX's 8GB.
• Best for Quick Charging → RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming: A full charge takes only 1.5 hours, getting you back in the game faster than the 2-hour cycle of the ZOVIMAX.
• Best for Rugged Waterproofing → ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones: Rated IPX8 with specific testing for 2.5 hours of submersion at 5 meters, designed for intense aquatic abuse.
• Best for Comfort and Flexibility → RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming: The memory titanium frame adapts to any head shape, reducing pressure points better than the plastic/strap design of the ZOVIMAX.
• Best for Audio Driver Size → ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones: The 14.2mm dynamic drivers offer a different sonic profile with potentially richer bass compared to the standard bone conduction drivers of the RELAXYO.
• Best for Connection Speed → ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones: Features Bluetooth 6.0, which generally implies lower latency and faster pairing compared to the Bluetooth 5.4 found in the RELAXYO.
• Best for Simple Controls → RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming: The dedicated three-button layout offers tactile feedback that is easier to manage with wet or gloved hands.
After weighing the specs and design philosophies of both units, I would buy the ZOVIMAX Bone Conduction Headphones. While the RELAXYO offers superior storage and a lighter frame, the ZOVIMAX feels more complete for the general athlete, particularly for those seeking the best hifi stereo bone conduction headphones for gym environments. The combination of Bluetooth 6.0, larger drivers, and longer battery life makes it a more versatile tool for high-intensity training. The adjustable strap provides a level of security that the flexible titanium frame cannot match for vigorous movement, and the 12-hour capacity means I won't have to worry about mid-workout shutdowns. Ultimately, for gym use, the ZOVIMAX strikes the better balance between performance, durability, and power.
Yes, both models feature high-level waterproof ratings (IPX8 for ZOVIMAX and IP68 for RELAXYO) that allow for full submersion. However, you must switch to MP3 mode before entering the water because Bluetooth signals do not transmit through water.
The ZOVIMAX uses larger 14.2mm dynamic drivers which typically produce a fuller sound with more bass response compared to the standard bone conduction drivers used in the RELAXYO, making it preferable for music lovers.
The RELAXYO holds significantly more with 32GB of storage (up to 7,000 songs), whereas the ZOVIMAX offers 8GB of internal memory (up to 2,000 songs). Both allow you to transfer files via USB cable.
Neither data sheet explicitly mentions a included carrying case, though both come with magnetic charging cables and user manuals. You will likely want to purchase a protective pouch separately to prevent scratches when storing them in a gym bag.
