We are a theoretical condensed-matter physics group in the Department of Physics at KFUPM, with a primary focus on quantum spin dynamics and quantum computation. Our research explores the fundamental physics of magnetism, nonequilibrium and open quantum systems, and topological phenomena, together with their potential applications in emerging quantum technologies and quantum information processing.
Here are a few keywords describing our research topics:
Quantum spin dynamics and magnonics, with applications in (quantum) spintronics
Topological magnetic textures, including domain walls, skyrmions, and vortices
Quantum computation, quantum control, and quantum error correction
Spin qubits and correlated noise
Open, nonequilibrium, and non-Hermitian quantum systems
We are currently looking for outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows. Please submit your application documents online. Also see Openings.
