Khan Academy, an online tutoring program that helps deepen students' understanding of material, has now linked up with College Board to help students better prepare for the SAT.
How to link your accounts:
- 1. Go to satpractice.org to either create or sign in to existing Khan Academy account.
- 2. Choose to submit your PSAT code (found on the back of your PSAT results) into Khan Academy.
- 3. Create or sign in to your College Board account; choose to send your PSAT scores to Khan Academy
- 4. Khan Academy creates personalized tutorials for the areas you need the most work on.
What Zorro SAT Prep does to help in conjunction with Khan Academy:
- Khan Academy is a great resource, but having a personalized tutor explain misunderstood concepts is the most beneficial way to improving SAT scores. We can better help figure out a student's logic and learning process and cater to his/her needs.
- Like Khan Academy, we look at each student's PSAT/diagnostic score, analyzing which areas are the student's strengths and weaknesses, and then we create a personalized plan for each student.
- Each weekend, we will try to focus on a new skill in each section (Reading/language and math) to improve upon throughout the week.
- During the week, students will be responsible for completing suggested work from Khan Academy (and other resources if needed)
