Permissions Used

Notification Access Permission
Purpose:
UPI Soundbox uses Notification Access to detect successful payment notifications and provide voice alerts.
Examples:
"₹250 received"
"Vinod Sharma sent you ₹500"
This permission is required for the core functionality of the application.
Notification data is processed locally and is not uploaded to any server.

Foreground Service Permission
Purpose:
Allows the application to remain active in the background and provide timely voice alerts when payment notifications are received.

Notification Permission (Android 13+)
Purpose:
Allows the application to display its own alerts, reminders, and service notifications.

Bluetooth Permission (Optional)
Purpose:
Allows voice announcements to be routed through connected Bluetooth speakers.
This permission is optional and only used when Bluetooth functionality is enabled.

Battery Optimization Exemption (Optional)
Purpose:
Certain Android devices aggressively stop background services.
Users may choose to exempt UPI Soundbox from battery optimization to ensure reliable voice announcements.

Local Data Storage

UPI Soundbox stores data locally on your device using secure local storage mechanisms.

No cloud storage is used by default.
No payment information is transmitted to Zorix Studio servers.

Users may delete payment history at any time from the application settings.

No analytics are transmitted externally.

Sender Name Detection

Sender names are processed locally only.

UPI Soundbox does not:

Data Deletion
