8:00 - 10:00 am: Jackbox Sampler
These are a variety of computer-based games. To play, you should have a setup that allows you to view both a Zoom session and a separate browser window and be able to readily switch between them. Ideally, you should be able to view both simultaneously (e.g., side by side windows, or two monitors, or a computer and a smart phone). You’ll use the separate browser window to (depending on the game) enter text, draw a picture, or click on a selection. The website is jackbox.tv
10:00 - 11:30 am: Carnelli®
This is a title association game created by Mensan Jan Carnelli. Players link copyrighted works, such as songs, films, TV shows, novels, etc., by means of common words found in the title. The Carnelli Master (Toby) reserves the right to be arbitrary, capricious, unpredictable, whimsical, impetuous, but in all cases, final. Punsters are welcome. Join in the fun!

Noon - 3:00 pm: Mensa Bowl:
Mensa Bowl is the annual showcase event where all of that trivia you have effortlessly absorbed for years may actually be useful. Here's your chance to show us that you really do know it all. Since it was first introduced in 1984 Mensa Bowl has been a SEMMantics Saturday afternoon favorite. Loosely based on the old college bowl format, each team is asked alternating questions. Should your team take the easy 20-point question, the moderately difficult 30-pointer, or the much more difficult but oh-so-satisfying-if-you-get-it-right 50-pointer that might enable you to jump into a commanding lead? There's Mensanesque strategy involved. Watch them develop and ripostes fly as teams jockey for position and points to win the bragging rights as this year's Mensa Bowl Champs.
3:00 - 4:00 pm: Codenames
There is a grid of 25 random words. Some of the words belong to the red team, some to the blue team, some are bystanders, and one is an assassin. Only two rival spymasters know which words belong to which team. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words of their color. Their teammates try to guess words of their color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin. To play, you should have a setup that allows you to view both a Zoom session and a separate browser window and be able to readily switch between them.
4:00 - 5:00 pm: Fact or Crap
This is a Michigan-centric version of Fact or Crap®. All questions are new, so no one who has played the commercial game has any advantage. You must determine whether a statement; often strange but true facts, is fact (true) or crap (false). After five seconds, I will reveal which it is. If the statement is crap (false), can you supply the fact that makes it right? Sorry, no alternative facts accepted, and you may not use any electronic devices. Usually at the RG, people play in small teams, but this year, since we are on Zoom, you can play alone or in small groups. Be sure to have pencil, paper, and something green and something red in hand, or write the word red and green on separate sheets.
5:00 - 6:00 pm: Blank Slate
Everyone secretly writes a word that completes a phrase on the cue card (for example, “_____ house”). Choose your word carefully; you score the most points for matching words with only one other person, and no points if you don’t match anyone. You’ll need something to write on and hold up to your camera. An erasable whiteboard works well, but a piece of paper and a dark pen also works.
6:00 - 7:00 pm: Chronology
Build your own timeline of dates. You will be read a historical event from a card. You decide where that event falls in your timeline. If you’re right, keep the date and your timeline grows. The first player to build a timeline of 10 cards wins. You should have something to write dates on; Post-it notes, index cards, or a sheet of paper.
7:00 - 8:30 pm: Open Gaming
Come hang out and play!
8:30 - 9:30 pm Wheel of Enormous Proportions
The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is a hybrid game of trivia and chance hosted by an immortal, all-knowing wheel from a mountaintop in the sky. You'll have to earn slices of the Wheel's majestic face playing trivia before moving on to the spinning round where enough lucky spins can lead you to victory.
9:30 pm - ? Trivia Murder Party
It's time to play Trivia Murder Party, a deadly quiz show where you match wits with a trivia-obsessed killer. Answer trivia questions correctly in each round or you'll find yourself on The Killing Floor, where players compete in devious minigames that determine whether they survive another round or become a ghost.
