Zonyr uses geofencing to automatically block distracting apps when you enter specific locations. Set up a focus zone at your library, and when you arrive, apps like Instagram and TikTok are automatically blocked. Leave the zone, and everything returns to normal.
How do I create a focus zone?
Open Zonyr and tap "Add Zone"
Search for a location or drop a pin on the map
Set your zone radius (10-500 meters)
Select which apps to block
Save your zone
When you enter this area, your selected apps will automatically be blocked.
Why aren't my apps blocking?
Check that Location Services are enabled for Zonyr (Settings > Privacy > Location Services)
Ensure "Always" location permission is granted
Make sure Screen Time permissions are enabled
Verify you're within the zone radius on the map
Does Zonyr drain my battery? No. Zonyr uses iOS's native geofencing API, which is designed to be battery-efficient. It monitors location changes in the background without constant GPS polling.
Is my location data private? Yes. All location data stays on your device. Zonyr does not store, transmit, or sell your location information. Your focus zones are saved locally on your iPhone.
How do I delete a focus zone? Swipe left on any zone in your list and tap "Delete."
Can I schedule zones for specific times? Yes. When creating or editing a zone, tap "Schedule" to set specific days and times when the zone should be active.
What happens if I need to access a blocked app urgently? You can temporarily disable a zone by toggling it off in the app, or simply leave the physical location to regain access.
Does Zonyr work offline? Yes. Once your zones are set up, they work without an internet connection. Geofencing runs locally on your device.

Location permissions: Zonyr requires "Always" location permission to trigger geofencing events in the background. This location data is processed locally on your device and never leaves your iPhone.
Third-party services: Zonyr does not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking services.
Your rights: You can delete all app data by deleting the Zonyr app from your device.
Acceptance of Terms: By downloading and using Zonyr, you agree to these terms of service.
License: Zonyr grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for personal productivity purposes.
Prohibited Use: You may not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of Zonyr.
