a. Health Data (HealthKit)

Zone 2 Buddy integrates with Apple’s HealthKit to collect and manage your health data. With your permission, the App may collect and store the following types of data from HealthKit:

• Heart rate data

• Workout data (e.g., duration, calories burned, etc.)

• Other health-related metrics you choose to share

Note: All HealthKit data is stored locally on your device and is never transferred to our servers.

b. Other Information

• Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the type, operating system, and app usage data.

• App Activity: We collect information on how you use the App, such as features used and time spent in the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Personalization: To tailor your experience and provide customized insights based on your heart rate and workout data.

• Health Monitoring: To track your progress in Zone 2 heart rate training and offer feedback to improve your fitness.

• App Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and make improvements to the App.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your HealthKit data to third parties. Your data is used solely for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We may, however, disclose information under the following circumstances:

• Control: You can control what data Zone 2 Buddy accesses from HealthKit via your device’s Health settings.

• Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by removing the App from your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

Zone 2 Buddy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it as soon as possible.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after any changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
