SEMINAR TO IMPROVE SPANISH PROFICIENCY
KNOWLEDGE OF STRUCTURE/VOCABULARY

THURSDAY – 10:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. (1 ½ HOURS)

SEPT 18, 2025 - DEC 11, 2025 - 1O SESSIONS

Seminar will utilize as much Spanish as possible and will concentrate on increasing listening & reading comprehension, expanding vocabulary, improving pronunciation, provide speaking practice, and clarifying structural/grammar points.
Prerequisite—Considerable previous knowledge of Spanish.
NOT FOR BEGINNERS.

Taught by fluent, experienced former teacher at high school/college level- David Park.

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE --

· LISTENING COMPREHENSION OF NATIVE SPEAKERS IN PERSON AND IN VIDEO/ AUDIO RECORDINGS

· GRAPHICAL OR VERBAL PROMPTS FOR CONVERSATION

· BRIEF CORRECTIONS / CLARIFICATIONS OF PRONUNCIATION, VOCABULARY, AND GRAMMATICAL POINTS.

TASKS TO DO AT HOME INCLUDE --

· A SHORT READING WITH COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS AND VOCABULARY ACTIVITIES
