Working with Sterlington High School:
Some extra work taken on my own time at LSU:
As a freshman in college, I did not know exactly that I wanted to work in sports, however, after experiencing my first college football season, I learned quickly that working in sports was what I wanted to pursue.
Some pictures taken during my internship at Tulane:
At Tulane, I helped with sports facilities. With the HBCU Legacy Bowl, we helped with anything that needed to be done behind the scenes, putting up tables, helping with tickets, telling people where to put things, and staying late to help close down. With baseball games, I helped shuttle people from their cars to the front gate, etc. With basketball, I was a sweet sweeper but also learned a lot of the behind-the-scenes. I learned how to operate the DV Sport system as well (so cool!). I made a lot of connections and learned so much from this opportunity.
Working at Allied Universal Event Services:
Working at Allied gave me an inside perspective of seeing how much time and security truly goes into athletic events. Working at Allied, I scheduled staff members for events, made sure we had people scheduled for every post at the facilities, and did paperwork. During games, I would oversee staff members and make sure they had everything they needed to be successful throughout the event. Working with Allied I was also able to work a Saints game and help with our branch managers in New Orleans.
Working the 2025 Super Bowl LIX:
While working the Super Bowl LIX, I was able to work with and shadow Derek Halbasch, director of stadium operations for the Cleveland Browns, I was able to see the behind-the-scenes of what all goes into running not only just the Super Bowl but the week leading up to it. I was able to "manage" Allied Universal security staff and help escort social media influencers as well as football players.
