Welcome to my webpage. I have just concluded my postdoc (Research Associate) at the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation (CHEPI) at Imperial College London.
In September, I start teaching Econ 246 at the University of Victoria (UVic). In October, I will start my postdoc in the Stringhini Lab within the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
I defended my PhD thesis in Economics at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy (May 2023). My advisors were Michèle Belot and Arthur Schram.
My main research interest is in Health Economics. More specifically I focus on healthy behaviours and habits, often focusing on diet, and the (lack of) changes thereof.
I am also interested in the prevention of health conditions (heart attack, obesity, diabetes, etc) through the adoption of healthy lifestyles, including plant-based diets.
