Frontier Airlines MIA Terminal +1-888-839-0502
Hello, just wanted to leave a brief review of my Frontier Airlines MIA Terminal experience. The terminal was tidy and check-in was easy with the kiosks. Security was quick, and the TSA agents were courteous. I was impressed by how well-organized the Frontier gate crew was, keeping everyone in the loop. The seating was fine certainly could use more plugs, though. Not a lot of dining choices right by the gate, but if you go a little ways, there are more. Overall, it wasn't high-end, but it was efficient and nice. Well worth the money if you're wanting to find a cheap travel option from Airlines.
Frontier Airlines is an ultra-low-cost carrie based in Denver, Colorado. Known for its no-frills approach, Frontier offers low base fares with optional add-ons such as seat selection, checked and carry-on baggage, and onboard refreshments. It primarily focuses on domestic travel within the United States, but also operates a growing number of international routes, particularly to Mexico and the Caribbean. Frontier's presence at Airlines reflects its expansion strategy to tap into the growing demand for affordable air travel in South Florida
At Miami International Airport, Frontier Airlines operates out of Terminal C, which is part of the airport’s Central Terminal complex. Terminal C is also referred to as Concourse C, and it handles a range of domestic and international flights.
Terminal Name: Central Terminal – Concourse C
Airline: Frontier Airlines
Check-in Counters: Located on the 2nd level of Terminal C
Gates Used: Typically Gates C1 through C22, but passengers should confirm on their boarding pass or the airport monitors.
Baggage Claim: Ground level of Central Terminal
Keep in mind that terminal assignments can sometimes change due to operational needs, so it’s a good idea to double-check your flight information on the Airlines website or with Frontier prior to your departure.
Frontier offers multiple ways to check in:
Online check-in: Available 24 hours before departure via the Frontier Airlines website or mobile app.
Airport kiosks: Self-service kiosks are available in the check-in area of Terminal C.
Ticket counter: For passengers needing assistance, agents are available at the Frontier check-in desk.
As an ultra-low-cost airline, Frontier charges for both carry-on and checked bags. You’ll typically save money by purchasing baggage allowance in advance online. Once you’ve checked in, proceed to the bag drop counter with your tagged luggage.
After check-in and baggage drop, passengers proceed to the TSA security checkpoint for Concourse C. Wait times can vary depending on the time of day, but mornings and evenings tend to be the busiest.
Pro Tip: Arrive at least 2 hours prior to a domestic flight and 3 hours prior to an international flight to allow time for check-in, security, and boarding.
Though Frontier is a budget airline, you don’t have to sacrifice comfort at Airlines. Terminal C and the adjacent areas of the Central Terminal offer a variety of amenities and services to make your wait more pleasant.
Whether you’re grabbing a coffee or sitting down for a full meal, you’ll find plenty of dining options within and near Concourse C. Some popular spots include:
Cafe Versailles – Iconic Cuban coffee and pastries
Einstein Bros. Bagels – Quick breakfast or snack
La Carreta – Classic Cuban cuisine
Corona Beach House – Casual sit-down meals with beer and cocktails

As a low-cost carrier, Frontier does not offer lounge access. However, if you hold membership or access through programs like Priority Pass, you might be able to use lounges in other terminals (such as the Admirals Club in Concourse D or the VIP Lounge in Concourse E). Keep in mind that this may require passing through different security checkpoints.
Airlines offers free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. Charging stations and power outlets are available near most gates.
Frontier’s boarding process is organized by zones, which are printed on your boarding pass. If you’ve paid for a carry-on or selected seating, you’ll typically board earlier than those who have opted for the most basic fare.
Have your boarding pass and ID ready at the gate.
Make sure your personal item fits under the seat in front of you.
Boarding usually begins about 30 to 40 minutes before departure and ends 15 minutes before takeoff.
Once you arrive at or depart from Airlines’s Terminal C, you’ll have plenty of options for ground transportation.

Hotel Shuttles: Many local hotels offer complimentary shuttle service to and from Airlines.
