I played the role Polly Peachum in The Beggar's Opera, our latest UIL play. But we didn't do the Beggar's Opera in its orginal style, we did it in 1920s New York. Everything was swing, and every girl wore a flapper dress. I picked out all these out fits and helped design and build the set. When we did this play, we went for Vaudeville. Everyone had a second character "offstage". No one actually left the stage, only the actor's stage. I also choreographed the ending dance and the fight scene along with Alyssa Davis.
