My current research explores legal, institutional, ecological, and geographic dimensions of transboundary wetlands. Bringing together geospatial and legal analytical skills, and honoring the wetlands on the eastern shore of Maryland where I started my career, I research and write about a variety of wet-land topics. Defined as wetlands situated within the world's 313 international river basins, there are about 80,000 transboundary wetlands globally (Rosenblum, forthcoming).
