If you want a bulk classroom set of wired headphones for students aged 12 and up, choose ZNXZXP 30; if you need a premium wireless gaming headset with Dolby Atmos for your PlayStation 5, choose Corsair Void v2. These two products sit in completely different worlds of design and purpose, yet both aim to deliver audio performance for their specific environments. The ZNXZXP 30 is built as a durable, high-volume tool for schools and libraries, while the Corsair Void v2 is engineered for immersive, low-latency gaming on next-gen consoles.
• ZNXZXP 30: Strength lies in its massive 30-pack quantity and rugged, wired reliability for group settings; trade-off is the lack of wireless freedom and basic audio features. Best for schools, libraries, and teachers managing large groups.
• Corsair Void v2: Strength is its dual-mode wireless connectivity (2.4GHz and Bluetooth) combined with 70-hour battery life and spatial audio; trade-off is the single-unit cost and complexity compared to simple wired gear. Best for serious gamers seeking immersion on PS5 and PC.
• The Choice: Pick the ZNXZXP 30 for educational logistics and the Corsair Void v2 for personal entertainment.
The ZNXZXP 30 is not designed for the casual home user looking for a single pair of headphones to play music on their phone. It is a logistical solution first and an audio device second. This product comes as a 30-pack, with each unit individually wrapped in an OPP bag, making it an ideal choice for educators, librarians, or administrators who need to outfit an entire classroom, testing center, or community room without the headache of inventory management. The sheer volume of units ensures that most daily listening needs are met simultaneously.
Design-wise, these headphones prioritize durability and fit over high-fidelity audiophile specs. They feature an on-ear placement with rounded earpieces made from silicone and soft sponge pads. This construction aims to provide a comfortable fit for extended periods, which is crucial when students are taking tests or participating in online lessons. The adjustable headband allows them to fit a wide range of head sizes, specifically targeting users aged 12 and above. The lightweight nature of the build ensures they do not feel burdensome during long sessions, and the sturdy cable, measuring approximately 1.2 meters (3.94 feet), prevents tangling issues common with shorter wires.

You should buy the ZNXZXP 30 if your primary use case involves distributing audio equipment to multiple people in a controlled environment. Whether it is for library study halls, office training sessions, or school testing centers, the wired 3.5 mm jack connectivity offers a zero-latency, zero-battery-failure experience. However, you should skip this product if you are looking for wireless convenience, noise isolation, or advanced gaming features. The lack of wireless technology means you are tethered to your device, and the dynamic drivers, while capable of clear sound, do not offer the directional precision required for competitive gaming. It is a workhorse for education, not a toy for play.
In stark contrast to the utilitarian ZNXZXP 30, the Corsair Void v2 is a high-performance peripheral designed for the individual gamer who demands immersion and flexibility. This headset is explicitly built for platforms like the PlayStation 5, offering a seamless integration that goes beyond simple audio playback. Its standout feature is the dual wireless capability, allowing users to switch instantly between ultra-fast 2.4GHz wireless for gaming and Bluetooth for mobile versatility. This means you can game on your console with zero lag and then seamlessly switch to your smartphone for calls or media without fumbling with dongles or cables.
The audio engineering here is significantly more advanced than the standard classroom model. Equipped with custom-tuned 50mm Neodymium drivers and support for Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio, the Void v2 provides dynamic and directional sound. In a gaming context, this translates to the ability to pinpoint footsteps, explosions, and movement with incredible accuracy, giving players a distinct advantage. The microphone utilizes NVIDIA Broadcast technology to cut through background noise, ensuring crystal-clear communication with teammates. Comfort is also a major focus, utilizing breathable memory foam ear cushions that allow for all-day wear during marathon gaming sessions, far exceeding the comfort profile of the on-ear ZNXZXP model.
Battery life is another area where this headset dominates. With an average life of up to 70 hours, you can play for days on a single charge. If you run low, the fast-charging feature provides 6 additional hours of playtime from just a 15-minute charge. This eliminates the anxiety of mid-game power loss. You should buy the Corsair Void v2 if you are a gamer looking for wireless freedom, superior sound positioning, and multi-platform compatibility. However, you might consider skipping it if you strictly require a wired connection for absolute simplicity or if you are purchasing for a group setting where budget and quantity are the primary constraints. It is a premium tool for a single user, not a bulk supply for a classroom.
• Best for Wireless Freedom → Corsair Void v2: The ZNXZXP 30 is strictly wired with a 3.5 mm jack, whereas the Void v2 offers dual wireless modes (2.4GHz and Bluetooth) for true untethered play.
• Best for Battery Life → Corsair Void v2: While the ZNXZXP 30 has no battery to worry about, the Void v2 delivers up to 70 hours of continuous use, a necessity for long gaming sessions on PS5.
• Best for Group Distribution → ZNXZXP 30: The 30-pack configuration makes the ZNXZXP 30 the only viable option for classrooms, libraries, or offices needing to equip many users at once.
• Best for Immersive Gaming → Corsair Void v2: Features like Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio and 50mm drivers provide directional accuracy that the standard dynamic drivers of the ZNXZXP 30 cannot match.
• Best Value for Single User → Corsair Void v2: For one person wanting a premium experience, the advanced features justify the investment over buying a single unit of the generic ZNXZXP model.
• Best for Durability in Schools → ZNXZXP 30: Designed with sturdy cables and robust materials for repeated handling by teens and adults, these are built to survive the chaos of a busy learning environment.
• Best for Microphone Clarity → Corsair Void v2: The omni-directional mic with NVIDIA Broadcast technology offers professional-grade noise cancellation, unlike the non-controlled audio input of the ZNXZXP 30.
• Best for Simple Connectivity → ZNXZXP 30: Plug-and-play via 3.5 mm jack works with almost any device without drivers or software setup, ideal for quick, friction-free use.
After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the Corsair Void v2 for my own gaming setup on the PS5. The combination of wireless freedom, 70-hour battery life, and Dolby Atmos spatial audio creates a gaming experience that the ZNXZXP 30 simply cannot compete with. While the ZNXZXP 30 serves a vital role in education, it lacks the technological depth required for modern entertainment. If you are looking for wireless on ear headphones for ps5 that deliver high-quality sound and reliable performance, the Corsair Void v2 is the clear winner. It transforms how you interact with games, turning flat audio into a three-dimensional soundscape.
The ZNXZXP 30 is suitable for children aged 12 and up due to its adjustable fit and durable design, but it requires a wired connection. The Corsair Void v2 is better suited for older teens and adults who need wireless capabilities and advanced gaming features.
Yes, the Corsair Void v2 supports dual wireless compatibility, allowing you to easily switch between PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices via Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz dongle.
No, the ZNXZXP 30 does not have a rechargeable battery; it is a fully wired device powered directly through the 3.5 mm jack, so there is no charging time required.
A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours, but the headset supports fast charging, providing up to 6 hours of playtime from just a 15-minute charge session.
