Privacy Policy for Risk It
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy explains what Risk It collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is
written to be read rather than to be survived.
Risk It is a game played with fictional money. There is nothing in it to buy: no purchase
of any kind is possible, and no fictional money can ever be exchanged for anything of real
value. Themes and other unlockables are paid for with the fictional money you win in the
game.
The short version
Risk It has no accounts, no sign-in, no email address and no password. It does not know
your name, where you are, who is in your contacts, or what else is on your phone. What it
sends to its server is a random identifier it made up on your device, a display name you
chose, and your saved game.
What is collected, and why
A random player identifier. Generated on your device the first time the app runs. It
is a random string and is not derived from your phone, your accounts, or anything about
you. It exists so that a leaderboard row and a saved game can be recognised as yours on
your next launch.
A display name. Either one you typed, or one the app generated for you. It appears on
the leaderboard, so choose accordingly — do not use your real name if you would rather
other players did not see it.
Your whole saved game. When your progress is backed up, the entire save is uploaded,
not a summary of it. That is your balance, every statistic, achievements, level, themes
owned and equipped, daily-challenge results, promotional codes redeemed, your play
allowance for the day, your sound setting, your friend code, your friends list — and your
recovery code itself, because the recovery code is what the backup is filed under.
A recovery code. A random code, shown to you in the app, that restores your saved game
on a new device. Anyone who has it can restore your save, so treat it as a password and
do not share it.
Friend, referral and match data. If you add a friend, use a referral code, or play a
one-versus-one match, the server stores which players were involved, the stake, and the
result, so both sides see the same outcome. Adding a friend stores their identifier in
your save, which means it is included in your backup.
An advertising identifier. Google's advertising ID is a resettable identifier provided
by your device, used to select and measure adverts. You can reset or delete it in your
Android settings under Privacy → Ads, and doing so does not affect the game.
What is not collected
No email address. No phone number. No real name. No password. No location. No contacts.
No photos or files. No list of the other apps on your phone. No microphone or camera
access.
What the app asks your phone for
Most of these come from Google's advertising library rather than from the game itself, and
none of them show you a permission prompt — Android grants them at install:
INTERNET — Leaderboards, matches and backups
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Lets the ad library see whether you are online
AD_ID — The advertising identifier described above
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS — Google's Privacy Sandbox, used by the ad library
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE — Used by the ad library while an advert is loading
Who the data is shared with
Supabase, which hosts the database the game talks to, as a data processor on our
behalf.
Google AdMob, which receives the advertising identifier and information needed to serve
and measure adverts. Google's own privacy policy governs what it does with that:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared with anybody else.
Advertising and your consent
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you will be asked before
any personalised advert is requested, and you may refuse. Refusing does not restrict the
game in any way; you will see non-personalised adverts instead. You can change your answer
at any time from the menu inside the app.
Children
Risk It simulates casino gambling. It is not intended for children and is not directed at
anyone under 18.
How long it is kept
Leaderboard entries, saves and match records are kept while the game is running so the
features that depend on them work. Ask for deletion using the contact below and everything
associated with your player identifier will be removed.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it
corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how it is used. Because there is no
sign-in, you will need your player identifier or recovery code to prove which records are
yours.

How to delete your data
Email playznxstudios@gmail.com and say that you want your data deleted. Include your
player identifier or your recovery code, both of which are shown in the app under the
side menu, so the right records can be found - there is no sign-in, so this is the only
way to prove which records are yours.
What is deleted: your saved game, your leaderboard entries, your match records, your
friends list and your referral records. Everything tied to that player identifier.
What is kept: nothing that identifies you.
How long it takes: within 30 days of the request, with no further retention afterwards.
Your advertising identifier is held by your phone rather than by this game, so it is not
part of the above. Reset or delete it in Android settings under Privacy -> Ads.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be
announced in the app.
