EICSS VoIP products now include support for recently open-sourced Broadvoice BV16 narrowband audio codec by Broadcom. BV16 offers high voice quality, low latency (5ms) and low MIPS requirements at reasonably good coding efficiency of 16 Kbps - all well suited for embedded VoIP applications.
