If you want a versatile, all-day companion for airport terminals, office commutes, and gym sessions with massive battery life, choose ZKBSIAXD Open Ear; if you need a dedicated tool that lets you swim underwater without your phone while keeping your ears open to the pool, choose KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones.
• ZKBSIAXD Open Ear: Delivers an incredible 300 hours of total playtime and uses Bluetooth 6.0 for seamless streaming, but it is only IPX4 rated and cannot survive submersion in water. This pick is for travelers and athletes who prioritize battery endurance and versatility over waterproofing.
• KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones: Offers true IP68 submersibility and 32GB of internal storage so you can swim freely without a phone, but it requires switching modes to work underwater and lacks the extended "all-week" battery span of its competitor. This pick is for serious swimmers who need to leave their devices on the deck.
The ZKBSIAXD Open Ear is engineered for the person who needs audio gear that disappears into their daily routine without becoming a burden. The defining feature here is the sheer scale of its power management. With a single charge providing six hours of continuous playback and a compact case adding another 294 hours, you are looking at a device that can last weeks between full recharges. For someone planning a long-haul flight or a multi-day business trip, this eliminates the anxiety of hunting for outlets. You simply put them in your carry-on, forget about them, and they will be ready when you land.
Design-wise, the clip-on architecture targets comfort above all else. The 16mm dynamic drivers deliver what is described as high-fidelity sound with deep bass, yet the open-ear shape ensures no pressure builds up inside the ear canal. This makes it an excellent choice for those who suffer from ear fatigue after wearing traditional in-ear buds for hours. Whether you are navigating a noisy terminal, trying to focus on a Zoom call with the ENC noise cancellation suppressing background chatter, or hitting the treadmill, the secure fit means you never have to worry about them falling out. The touch controls allow you to manage volume or calls with a single tap, which is essential when your hands are full with luggage or a coffee.

However, this product has clear boundaries defined by its durability rating. While the IPX4 certification protects against sweat and light rain, it does not mean you should take these into a pool or a shower. If your primary goal involves swimming, diving, or heavy industrial water exposure, this unit is not built for that environment. It is also worth noting that while the Bluetooth 6.0 connection offers a stable 15-meter range, it relies entirely on a paired device like a smartphone or tablet. You cannot listen to music independently without your phone nearby. This is the perfect setup for a commuter, a runner, or an office worker who wants high-quality audio without the isolation of noise-canceling earbuds, but it is not a standalone music player.
The KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones serve a very specific, non-negotiable purpose: they are designed to function where most electronics fail. The standout capability here is the IP68 waterproof rating, which guarantees full submersibility. Unlike standard sport headphones that might survive a splash, these are built to handle being completely underwater. This is achieved through bone conduction technology, which transmits sound through the cheekbones rather than pushing air into the ear canal. This keeps your ears completely open, allowing you to hear splashes, lane lines, or poolside announcements while still enjoying your playlist. For a swimmer who values situational awareness and safety in the water, this design philosophy is critical.
The ability to operate without a phone tethered to your hip is a game-changer for aquatic activities. These headphones come equipped with a built-in 32GB memory card capable of storing over 80,000 songs. Once you load your favorite tracks onto the device, you can switch to MP3 mode and dive straight in. There is no Bluetooth signal loss underwater because the radio waves simply do not travel well through water; the device bypasses this limitation by playing directly from its internal storage. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit even under a swim cap or hat, and the magnetic charging port adds a layer of safety and convenience during the charging process.
There are trade-offs to consider with this specialized approach. Because the device must switch to MP3 mode for underwater use, it loses the ability to stream live content or take calls while submerged. You are limited to pre-loaded files. Additionally, while the battery life is sufficient for swimming sessions, it does not match the week-long endurance of the ZKBSIAXD model. The bone conduction driver type provides a unique listening experience that some audiophiles might find less immersive than traditional dynamic drivers, especially regarding bass response. However, for the specific intent of swimming, running near traffic, or working out in humid environments where water resistance is paramount, this unit is the only logical choice. It is for the athlete who refuses to compromise on safety or data independence while in the water.
• Best for Battery Life → ZKBSIAXD Open Ear (300 hours total vs. standard swimming session capacity).
• Best for Underwater Use → KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones (IP68 submersible vs. IPX4 sweat-proof).
• Best for Independent Listening → KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones (32GB internal storage allows phone-free operation).
• Best for Long-Distance Travel → ZKBSIAXD Open Ear (Compact case holds enough power for weeks of commuting).
• Best for Call Clarity → ZKBSIAXD Open Ear (ENC algorithm suppresses 90% of background noise).
• Best for Situational Awareness → Both (Open-ear designs keep ears free, but KOPIDOE is safer for poolside visibility).
• Best for Sweat Resistance → Both (Both offer protection, but KOPIDOE handles immersion while ZKBSIAXD handles sweat/rain).
• Best for Versatility → ZKBSIAXD Open Ear (Works seamlessly for running, office, and travel without mode switching).
In my opinion, I would buy the ZKBSIAXD Open Ear for general daily use, particularly for airplane travel where you need reliable, long-lasting audio to pass the time without worrying about charging. Its combination of ultra-long battery life, ENC noise cancellation, and comfortable clip-on design makes it the superior all-around companion for the modern traveler. However, if your primary goal is specifically to swim laps without carrying a phone, the KOPIDOE Swimming Headphones are the only viable option due to their IP68 rating and internal storage. For everyone else, the ZKBSIAXD model offers the flexibility and endurance that fits a busy lifestyle better.
The ZKBSIAXD features an ENC algorithm that actively suppresses up to 90% of background noise during calls, making it excellent for Zoom calls or busy offices. Neither model uses active noise cancellation for music, as both rely on open-ear designs to keep your surroundings audible.
No, not for swimming. The KOPIDOE headphones include 32GB of internal memory that holds thousands of songs, allowing you to switch to MP3 mode and swim independently without your phone.
The ZKBSIAXD Open Ear is IPX4 rated, meaning it is resistant to sweat and light rain, but it is not designed for submersion. You should avoid washing them or using them while fully submerged in water.
The ZKBSIAXD Open Ear utilizes 16mm dynamic drivers described as delivering deep bass and HD sound, which generally provides a richer audio profile for music streaming compared to the bone conduction drivers found in the KOPIDOE model.
