Videos & Releases

1. What is the current video frequency for ZJEP? 

• 3 new videos everyday, at 9:00am, 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Time zone is based on GMT+8 Kuala Lumpur / Singapore Time.  

• Special Videos (If Available) will upload on 1:00pm with premiere. 

2. What videos will ZJEP produce normally? 

• Lifts and Escalators Videos. 

• Sometimes, certain special videos and hotel tours will do in conjunction of special days / events. 

3. Which type of video is considered as Special Videos? 

• Lift Tours, Elevator Mashup, Lift Chime Complication is considered as Special Videos and will be release using premiere method. Hotel Tours is also considered as Special Videos but will not using premieres. 

4. Can I request a video that ZJEP had been filmed to release in prior?

• Now we still doesn't accept requests, but it will be ready to accept soon.

Copyright & ZJEP Video Usage

1.  Are ZJEP Videos copyrighted? 

• Yes, it is copyrighted for ALL videos from both ZJEP Channels.  But for online images / clips / audios, copyright is belongs to their respective owners.

2. Can I use ZJEP Videos? 

• You are allowed to use our videos ONLY :

- Had inform us in prior for non-commercial purposes

-  Credited to ZJEP for video usage during editing / after upload it.  

3. What if I had used ZJEP Videos without permission? 

• ZJEP takes serious views on copyright issues. If we found out that you are using our videos without prior permission, we will take the following action below. Do take note that YouTube have copyright match tools, which can easily to determine who is using our videos. 

For 1st Time & 2nd Time offence

• We will issue an notice and a 7-days period via YouTube for you to delete your video. If you failed to delete your video after the period, YouTube system will automatically delete the video. 

For 3rd time offence onwards, serious cases & cases that consists 3 or more of ZJEP videos

• We will directly request for standard removal via YouTube, means that your video will been deleted by YouTube system without prior notice. This might cause your YouTube channel being terminated. 

4. How can I contact ZJEP if I wish to use ZJEP's video?

5. Do I need get permission from ZJEP for sharing ZJEP's video and posts? 

• No, you are not required to get permission from ZJEP for sharing our videos, as it doesn't involve in ZJEP's video reusing. 

6. Can I screencap / screen recording ZJEP's videos and upload it? 

• No, screencap and screen recording of our videos will also involves video reusing, and we will take further action as reusing without permission. 

7. I am using ZJEP videos for less that 30 seconds from the overall videos for non-commercial proposes. Should I required for application?

• No, partially usage of ZJEP video are NOT REQUIRED for application. You may directly use the clip, however it is required providing credits to us. 

Feedbacks & Contact Us

1.  In case of there are mistakes in ZJEP video information / descriptions / titles, how can I inform ZJEP? 

• You can directly comment at the video that have a mistake information. We will correct it after we had received your comments. 

2. Can I provide feedbacks and suggestions to ZJEP? 

• Yes, you can. Just contact us via our email or our social medias.   

3. What medium can be used to contact ZJEP?

4. If you wish to request for taking down ZJEP videos due to certain copyright / privacy reason, how can I do?

Collaboration & Meetups

1.  Can I collaborate with ZJEP? 

• We open the opportunity of collaboration among elevator enthusiasts and others. If you interested for collaboration with ZJEP, please e-mail us for further information. 

2. Can I request meetup with ZJEP for elevator filming? 

• It's depends of ZJEP availability and location. In order for smooth process, please contact us 10 days in prior if you wish to meetup with ZJEP for elevator filming collaboration purpose. 

3. Is the meetup area limited within Penang only? 

• Normally ZJEP meetup coverage is within Penang only, unless we had stated that we have a trip at your meetup proposed area, so that we can make arrangements to have meetups during the trip.
