Short Bio
I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in JC STEM Lab on Data Science Foundations at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), I obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Queensland (UQ) under the supervision of Prof. Wen Hua, Prof. Lei Li, and Prof. Xiaofang Zhou.
My research focuses on spatiotemporal data intelligence, with an emphasis on spatial systems for multimodal fusion and real-time inference across mobility and 3D spatial environments. I develop scalable multi-criteria routing algorithms and unified data engine that integrate trajectories, point clouds, and reconstructed scenes, supporting various cross-modal indexing and query processing. My recent research centers on dynamic 3D rendering and spatiotemporal semantic search over multimodal data, enabling richer spatial understanding in both large-scale urban environments and fine-grained embodied settings.
