Privacy Policy for ZIP Extractor: Unzip & Unrar

HPG Mobile ("we", "us", "our") develops and operates the ZIP Extractor: Unzip & Unrar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Your files: The App needs storage access to browse, extract, compress and save the files you select. All files are processed on your device only. We do not upload, view, store or transmit your files, archives or archive passwords to our servers or to any third party.

Google Drive: If you choose to connect Google Drive, you sign in through Google. The App accesses only the Drive files you select to compress or extract. We do not store your Google account credentials or your Drive files.

File transfer: When you send files to a nearby device, the App uses Wi-Fi or hotspot connections. It also uses the nearby devices or location permission that Android requires for these connections, only to connect the two devices. Files go directly from one device to the other and never pass through our servers. We do not use this permission to track your location.

Notifications: If you allow notifications, the App uses them only to show the progress of compression and extraction tasks running in the background.

Device and usage information: Our third-party service providers may automatically collect certain information. This includes your device's advertising ID, device model, operating system version, IP address, app interactions, and crash and performance data.

Purchase information: In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We only receive confirmation of your purchase so that your Lifetime purchase can be unlocked.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and operate the App's extract, compress, file transfer and file management features

• Display advertisements to users of the free version

• Verify and restore in-app purchases

• Measure how users find the App through our marketing campaigns

• Analyze app usage to improve features and performance

• Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical issues

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses the following third-party services. Each may collect information as described in its own privacy policy:

4. ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES

The free version of the App displays ads served by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Android settings.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the App's settings.

Purchasing the Lifetime option removes all ads.

5. DATA RETENTION

Your files are never stored by us and stay on your device until you delete them. Usage, attribution and crash data collected by third-party services is retained according to each provider's retention policy.

6. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable measures to protect information, and data transmitted by our service providers is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You can also object to that processing. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
