As the FAA deadline for Remote ID compliance approaches, drone pilots face a critical moment in ensuring their operations align with regulations. That's where Zing Remote ID comes in, revolutionizing the way pilots meet requirements while enhancing safety, accountability, and airspace management. The company is currently in the process of filing our FAA Declaration of Compliance. It will be live on the FAA DOC site prior to the initial ship date in September.

Prioritizing user-friendliness, Zing Remote ID is designed for pilots of all skill levels, making integration seamless. Clear instructions streamline the setup process, allowing users to get up and running quickly.

In the Data Basics guide, you learned how to add local data to the grid, both inline and via JavaScript. But, what if your data is in a database with an endpoint? What if your data is updating? You'll need to connect to it a little differently. In this guide, we'll walk you through the different ways you can connect to remote data.

ZingGrid provides the src attribute instead of the data attribute to get data from a remote source and display it. Using the src attribute makes an AJAX request internally to fetch your data. The path can be a relative or remote URL.

You now understand the basics of remote data assignment. If you want to learn more about features in ZingGrid, read our Adding Features guide. If you think you are ready to start styling your grid, read our Styling Basics guide.

The requirement applies to most types of drone flights, but there are a few exceptions such as drones flying in designated areas called FRIAs, or drones that weigh 250 grams or less. (Learn more about the four types of remote id-compliant drone flights).

HIGH TECH SENSORS

With integrated bionics, aerodynamics, and precision machinery technology, the Avatar Remote Control Classic Banshee offers an amazing remote-control and auto flying experience. Flies up to 200 feet away. Altitude sensor allows it to maintain its altitude, fly in a straight line, and prevent it from flying too high.

Specializing in mission planning services for airspace management and vertiports, Skyway ensures the seamless integration of unmanned aircraft into urban airspace. By optimizing safety and efficiency, Skyway's solutions not only elevate the standards of drone delivery operations but also pave the way for the industry's robust growth. Through this collaboration, Skyway, in tandem with Teal, redefines the landscape of UTM, setting new benchmarks in innovation and reliability.

In this partnership with Teal, Skyway introduces its innovative cloud-based radio service, enhancing the capabilities of eVTOL and unmanned aircraft. "This product collaboration launches a new era for aircraft communication utilizing traditional enterprise cloud systems," says Clifford Cruz, CEO of Skyway. Robert Hamblet, CEO of Teal, adds, "The drone industry is experiencing a significant transformation, and eSIM technology is at the forefront of this change. We are thrilled to be partnering with Zing and Skyway to open up new possibilities for UAS, allowing drones to extend their reach globally."

Honeywell introduced a remote diagnostic system intended to support its TFE731 engine base initially, but also eyed for remote monitoring of other aircraft systems. Dubbed the "Zing Intelligent Monitoring Network," the system will wirelessly transmit data stored in Digital Electronic Engine Controllers (DEECs) when an aircraft lands. In the event of an engine fault or exceedance, Zing will assist in identifying what the issue is, determine its criticality and suggest fixes. Operators can check on current engine status and historical information through a secure Web portal. ff782bc1db
