I am an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Data Science at the University of Toronto.
My research develops innovative statistical and machine learning methods for complex health data and applies them to address important questions in public health, medicine, and kinesiology.
My methodological work spans latent variable modeling, Bayesian statistics, causal inference, and the analysis of longitudinal, functional, and high dimensional data. I am particularly interested in developing methods that support statistical learning, digital phenotyping, and multimodal data integration using complex health data sources.
Through interdisciplinary collaborations, our research aims to translate methodological advances into discoveries that improve our understanding of human health, movement, and disease.
