Clair Sciglimpaglia is based in the Pacific Northwest, mostly in Portland OR and Seattle WA. It is her goal in life to crate meaningful, emotionally-charged works through multi-media. Her strengths are in filmmaking, photography, & editing.
Photography has always been her way of connecting with the world- photographing things they see that are meaningful to her & enjoying looking back at them later. As Clair has progressed in their photography journey, they have come to love portraiture because it is such fun connecting with someone via the camera. She always strives to make portrait shoots a comfortable and fun environment for everyone involved.
Filmmaking is much like photography for Clair, both a wonderful creative outlet to get to know the world around her and a portal into her mind. Clair loves working on documentary projects, capturing the rawness of the human experience. They also love working in fiction, crafting rich emotions and stories via the camera.
Editing is Clair's strongest skill, with thousands of hours in Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and other editing programs over the years. Clair's favorite part of creating a film project is connecting all the pieces to make the final product. Clair can commonly be found editing personal projects in her free time!
