Dr. Zia Hameed

Dr. Zia Hameed is a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Farnborough College of Technology and University Centre Farnborough in the United Kingdom. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Staffordshire. His research focuses on smart grids renewable energy systems and artificial intelligence based energy management. He has published in international peer reviewed journals and conferences and actively contributes to teaching applied and industry focused engineering programmes. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology United Kingdom. He also holds membership of the American Educational Research Association the International Association of Engineers the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Young Engineers Society. He is an Associate Fellow of Advance Higher Education United Kingdom recognising professional teaching practice in higher education.
