I am currently a Professor with the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Robot, Wuhan Institute of Technology, Wuhan, China. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science and technology from Wuhan Institute of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. I received my Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2012. From September 2009 to September 2010, I was a research intern at the Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping. From 2018 to 2019, I was a visiting scholar, supervised by Prof. Haibin Ling and Chiu C. Tan, at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, USA.
Generally speaking, my research interests lie in computer vision and machine learning. My current research is primarily focused on point/feature/image matching and registration, image fusion, and also includes image deformation, intelligent robotics, autonomous driving, scene text recognition, industrial data analysis, distributed computing, and remote sensing image analysis.
