Postdoctoral Researcher
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and outstanding candidate for a postdoctoral position in computational and theoretical condensed matter physics. The successful candidate is expected to study emergent properties of two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals heterostructures, including 2D magnets, organic-2D hybrid and moiré materials, and contribute to collaborative efforts between theory and experiment. Applicants with experience in Density functional Theory (DFT), tight-binding and/or machine learning methods are encouraged to apply by submitting a CV, a cover letter and contact info for at least two references to qunfei.zhou@ku.edu.
Graduate and Undergraduate Students
We are seeking motivated graduate and undergraduate students to join our group. Students who are interested in computational materials physics, analytical theory and machine learning for the understanding, property tuning and rational design of advanced materials for next-generation electronic and quantum technologies, are welcome to reach out by email.
