The potential of local microbes supports forest ecosystem functioning in the face of global climate change
Dr. Zhikang Wang does research in Microbial Ecology and Silviculture. He focuses on soil amendment and plant regulation with microbial products. His project aims to uncover the interactions between plants, microbes, and the environment in degraded forest ecosystems and sought to find sustainable amendment strategies that incorporate exogenous microbial products and soil-resident microbial potential.
