My research interest has been focused on Causality and Causal Machine Learning. I have been fortunate to work with Feng Dong, Samuel Kaski, Anthony Constantinou, Russell Almond, and Maomi Ueno and I am open to interdisciplinary discussion/collaboration on causal machine learning or adding causal 'salt' (thought) into your projects (zhigao.guo@strath.ac.uk).

04-05-2023: I will give an online summer school course on Causal Inference this June and July, at Northwestern Polytechnical University.
12-03-2023: Our paper 'The impact of prior knowledge on causal structure learning' is accepted by Knowledge and Information Systems.
22-12-2022: Samuel Kaski is recruiting PhD and postdocs on fundamental AI in Helsinki and Manchester, details is available at https://twitter.com/samikaski/status/1605607642927226882?s=20&t=AEY3t17EvV2aRP4SQgJMbA.
28-11-2022: After three years, our paper 'A survey of Bayesian Network structure learning' is accepted by Artificial Intelligence Review. Great working experience with Anthony Constantinou! Also, Anthony is recruiting CSC PhD on Causal Machine Learning and/or Bayesian Networks.
23-11-2022: After two years, our paper 'Improving Bayesian network structure learning in the presence of measurement error' is accepted by Journal of Machine Learning Research. Yang gave dream performance during his PhD study.
30-09-2022: Our paper 'Effective and efficient structure learning with pruning and model averaging strategies' has been accepted by International Journal of Approximate Reasoning.
