Zhen Zeng, Ph.D., Computer Science

Zhen Zeng, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) since 2023. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, under the supervision of Dr. Guoliang Xue and Dr. Dijiang Huang. She obtained her M.S. and B.S. degrees from Purdue University and Xidian University, respectively. Before joining UWM, she gained valuable industry experience in the high-tech sector, focusing on power management and cloud computing services.
Dr. Zeng’s general research interest lies in effectively securing distributed systems, networks, and cloud environments. She is interested in cloud and network security, AI for cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity and computer science education.
