I am Zhenghao Rao (饶正昊), a Hill Assistant Professor at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, mentored by Feng Luo. I completed my Ph.D. at Brown University in May 2024, advised by Jeremy Kahn. I received my B.S. in 2019 at Peking University.
My research interest lies in geometric topology. I am particularly interested in how the intrinsic geometry of surfaces interacts with the geometry of their ambient spaces and with their discrete realizations. My research has been supported by NSF DMS-2603932.
