I am currently a Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Finance and Economics at Texas State University. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), an M.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and a B.S. in Engineering from China.
My research lies at the intersection of econometrics, finance, and macroeconomics, with a particular emphasis on applying and developing machine learning methods for forecasting and inference in high-dimensional data. This agenda addresses challenges in financial markets and macroeconomic analysis while contributing to the advancement of quantitative methods in finance and economics.
