I am an Assistant Professor at  the Department of Economics, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University.

I am also affiliated with CeMPA at University of Essex.

I completed a PhD in Economics at The University of York.

I am an applied economist who uses economic models and microdata to understand the consumption, saving and labour supply behaviours of individuals and households.  

In particular, I am interested in 

• the impact of wealth shock, housing constraint and credit constraint on labour supply and consumption. 

• the measurement of economic insecurity and how the tax and benefit system mitigates insecurity.

My research is related to housing economics, labour economics, macroeconomics.
