Hi, I'm Zhaoyang Wang, a PhD student in computer science at the University of Birmingham, UK. I develop techniques to automate ML workflows, making AI models more efficient and adaptable across real-world problems. My ultimate goal is to develop scalable and self-improving AutoAI systems and methodology, advancing towards AGI by leveraging techniques in machine learning, optimization, and automated decision-making.
My current research focuses on Bayesian optimization and reinforcement learning for automated machine learning (AutoML) and LLMs.
