I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I am interested in applied mathematics and scientific computing, primarily in problems of nonlinear waves, such as traveling waves, the finite-time singularity problem of fluid equations and the stability of solutions.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow working with Bartosz Protas in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. I did my graduate studies in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley, advised by Jon Wilkening. Before that, I was an undergraduate student at Beijing Normal University.
