I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology.Â
I am interested in combining scientific computing with PDE analysis to study problems in fluid mechanics, including nonlinear water waves, the stability of steady or traveling solutions to fluid equations, and finite-time singularity formation. My research is partially supported by NSF grant DMS-2511663.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow working with Bartosz Protas in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. I did my graduate studies in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley, advised by Jon Wilkening. Before that, I was an undergraduate student at Beijing Normal University.
