My teaching focuses on equipping students with philosophical tools and helping them recognize how to apply these tools to real-life issues. Below are my recent and upcoming teaching assignments.


A course that explores ethical rules in domains including research ethics, allocation of scarce resources, genetic engineering, abortion, and physician-assisted dying.


A critical examination of such classical political theories as those of Plato, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Mill, Marx, and such contemporary theories as those of Arendt, Rawls, and Nozick.


An introductory course to various controversial moral debates (e.g. abortion, consent, war, emerging technologies including AI, social media, and med tech).
