Dr. Jing Zhao is an Associate Professor of Finance at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She joined the School of Accounting and Finance upon the completion of her Ph.D. at the University of Hong Kong. As an enthusiastic educator, Jing has been honored with multiple Prizes for Outstanding Achievements in Teaching. 

Her research interests include Behavioral Finance, Corporate Governmence, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, and Financial Technology (FinTech), drawing widespread attention from finance industry media like the Economist, Bloomberg Business, and the Asian Development Bank. Dr. Zhao’s research shed lights on how investors utilize information from various sources and make (suboptimal) investment decisions. Her scholarly contributions have been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science, etc.
