Opening

Postdoc: We have one position of postdoctoral scholar for reasearch in hybrid quantum system engineering. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in one or multiple of the following areas: experimental quantum physics, optics and micro-electromechanics. Candidates with skills in cryogenic operations, nanofabrication and microwave-photonic measurements will be favored (but not required). Graduate students: We occasionally have openings for graduate students with strong interest in quantum information science and engineering. Current PhD students with backgrounds in electrical engineering, photonics, or physics can express interest by emailing Dr. Zhao. Perspective PhD students are encouraged to apply to the Department of Physics at the University of Central Florida and indicate interest in joining our group in the application.

Undergraduate students: We welcome self-motivated undergraduate students to take the research opportunities in our group. Please reach out to Dr. Zhao for a discussion of potential research project.
